The Canine Corona Virus Antigen Rapid Test is a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of canine Corona virus antigen (CCV Ag) in dog’s feces or vomit specimen.

Canine coronavirus is a virus of the family Coronaviridae that causes a highly contagious intestinal disease worldwide in dogs. 

The incubation period is one to three days.[5] The disease is highly contagious and is spread through the feces of infected dogs, who usually shed the virus for six to nine days, but sometimes for six months following infection.[4] Symptoms include diarrhea, vomiting, and anorexia. Diagnosis is through detection of virus particles in the feces. Treatment usually only requires medication for diarrhea, but more severely affected dogs may require intravenous fluids for dehydration. Fatalities are rare. The virus is destroyed by most available disinfectants.
